One of the things that has been going on is trash is left on streets and sidewalks seemingly as a type of messaging.
On June 5, 2019 I brought Chris his guitar in the hospital, and at his request, I stopped by Fred Meyer’s to buy him a notebook. This is what I saw on the stairs outside.

Along with the Darigold chocolate milk, metal spoon, and lots of salt and pepper packets that seem to come from a cafeteria, was a plastic bottle reading “Providence Hospital” stuffed with trash.
